A classic hot tub is round, made of wood and comes in various sizes with variable water volume.
You sit in the hot tub on the wooden benches. As
heating source for water has been used primarily a wood-burning stove
placed inside the tub. Another option are outside stoves, which has many advantages. Read about heating options here.
When choosing a hot tub, be careful with the choice of wood, different ypes of wood behave
differently when they come into contact with water and when they dry. The best thing is American
cedar, which unfortunately is expensive. Pine swells a lot in the water and shrinks in dry
weather. When assembling, it is therefore important that it's done when the wood is of suitable
humidity. The wood "lives" and can be very difficult to manage. We have for our
Hot Tubs selected domestic heat-treated pine (lunawood)
with similar strength characteristics as cedar and oak. Invest in quality when you
choose a hot tub. You are supposed to have it for years.
